Cleo is the name of the car my friends and I decided on, out of 8 options, we had a tiebreaker over "new noise" and "Cleo"
I wrapped my white (chipping) factory paint by myself! First car I've ever wrapped, and let me tell you, it's certainly not the easiest first car to wrap! If you have any questions, ask away! Learn from my mistakes, especially if you also have chipping paint! I used Avery's sea breeze blue, which looks very different on camera and in certain light.
I also got: custom headlights! Look at how beautiful they are! 818_retrofits on Instagram made them
Shiny new LEDs, no more halogens, I can actually see at night now
This photo is the closest it gets to what this color looks like in person, think: old Toyota blue!
Genuinely in love with the work he did. Look at all those details!
Side note: you have to take off the front bumper to replace the headlights. Have patience! I broke a lot in my frustration
Some before pictures!
Here's an area the paint was chipping (keep in mind this is after the factory recall and the respray! Every panel on the passenger side was chipping somewhere). I fixed it, but it was still weak. I put spray wax under the vinyl in areas where the paint was weak to prevent lifting. It worked so well!
Have a huge bondo patch from when a family member backed into their own jeep trying to move my car
And yes, it is still visible under the wrap, but just barely. I did NOT have the patience to blend it out all smooth and stuff
I like the blue. It looks very modern, like a blue version of the glossy gray that is so popular now.
I was very briefly considering wrapping mine with white with brown spots, like a cow. I am sure I would have gotten tired of that after about a week! Too much of a novelty.

That sounds like a really cute idea! My family was bugging me over if I'd add "racing stripes" or any extra decals and I firmly said no. I knew I wouldn't be able to do anything like that the first go around! I love thematic cars, but I have no clue what theme "old Toyota blue" would go with, besides, well, Toyota! 😂
