Those are purdy!! Yeah for 4k they can keep those sheepskin mats. I would be scared to get them dirty. I would probably keep a set of shoes in the car to change into lol.
Just notice the pedals are really close together.
REPLY:
The wife actually has two pairs of shoes she uses whenever she's driving. For me, it's my trusty Adidas or Asic runners!!!
The mats are faux leather. Easy to wipe clean. Embroidered logo is a nice touch!
Am using right foot for gas n left for brake (as I do when I drive any auto tranny). Pedal placement as you view them was taken at an angle making them seem closer than actual. They work fine with me.
I get that you're a super mod, however I just realized what I was seeing each time I read Reply: lol..
kinda weirds me out...

Being a MOD comes the responsibility of maintaining the most efficient use of threads and posts. Answering comments with my "Reply" is a way to further streamline these goals. Granted it's feels weird from the onset, but easy to get used to once the underlying reasons are understood.
Our cars are materials items. They're replaceable which come and go. For the meantime, will enjoy what's here. The wife is loving the Bentley for now. With the mileage at less than 8k miles, it may be years before it's shifted elsewhere. It's just gone through the local Bentley dealership for a complementary mechanical inspection while it had the radiator and brakes flushed. Passed with flying colors, except for one" road rash" wheel. Will be repaired sometime next month.
Nevertheless, the remaining youth in me yearns for that quick shifting pocket rocket. Back in 1997, got my son a new Integra Type R. Sadly, it was wrecked after 2 years. If the CTR becomes part of the stable, it may be the last full internal combustion car for my lifetime.. it all depends on the retirement package!!!😁

Bluetooth for Bentley
With the Bentley being a decade old, it needed an update which I have gotten so used to in the Fit - the ability to stream music from my cellphone. Despite having satellite radio, audio quality of Google Play and Spotify are much better, specifically in the lower octaves. Did the research and installed last Thursday a Grom bluetooth to complement the OEM bluetooth (phone only). If you have an older vehicle with a decent OEM infotainment sound system (e.g. Nakamichi, B&O, Harmon Kardon, Bose, etc..... Bentley has the British NAIM option) but has no bluetooth music, go to GromAudio.com for a possible solution.
In my case, CD changer removal is necessary. Special tool and 10 seconds was all it took. Connect the changer's female to the Grom's male connector. Pairing was instant. The result is great sound quality and endless selection listening to all my favorite playlists. A bonus is having Waze audio. The OEM Nav is slower and doesn't updated. For phonecalls, steering and headunit controls continue to function. Music is paused and returns to it's last spot.
Their is a downside as my phones are Android. No titles (only for Iphones☹) shown although scrolling forward/back is done. Put a phone vent mount and problem solved. Keeps me within easy sight and reach for both Waze and song titles.
The drive has become more pleasurable!!! CD changer removed with special tool
Cables connected
Installed temporarily held in place with a foam cube
Non-invasive vent mount from Amazon.
Happily listening to Frank and the horns of Count Basie's orchestra! For most of you, my music selection will remind you of your grandparents. I do like Billie Eilish!

Bentley Emblem and LED bulb install
Installed OEM emblems for engine designation. A subtle exterior aesthetic upgrade.
Upgraded boot lights to LED. What a difference!!!
After installing two upper bulbs.
After Inner bulbs installed.
These senior eyes can see everything!!! The install was a pain!!! Access was not friendly.
Upcoming, would be to finish all the interior lights. Awaiting the delivery of my LED bulb order from Ebay (from China).
Gotta thank all the guys who did this before me in the FitFreak forum as I never thought LED bulb conversion would be such a dramatic improvement. When I did this on back in 2014 for our '15 GK Fit, it's hard to accept regular incandescent bulbs nowadays!!!

For sure. There's "regular" LED bulbs and there's COB LED's. An even bigger difference.

Ordered 39mm festoon bulbs from Ebay for the license and interior lights. They looked different and thanks to AJ's informative post, I know now they are COB's (circuit on board). Am looking forward to the increased brightness.

Once in a lifetime encounter
Went to visit my wrap guy to schedule a week in May to install PPF for the incoming '20 CTR. Parked wife's SUV and in his shop was a pristine Carrera GT. Extremely rare in this city and the first I've ever seen up close. The owner was gracious enough to let me sit and start this unique beast. What a great treat that made my day. Had to share and post this.

2020 CTR Arrival
After waiting since 2014 with my deposit with the dealer in the hopes that the FK2 would come to our shores. Did'nt happen. Finally, my Boost Blue FK8 CTR arrived at my dealer's stocking yard yesterday. Drove out there to witness the transporter make the unload and am very pleased with the color viewed in person. It's darker than what we see from the numerous videos. Very nice!!!
Dealer PDI'd today but has to still install the ordered illumination package. Delivery will happen next week. It'll go for PPF and Ceramic coating immediately. Stay tuned and for the benefit of 2RISMO2 will take a pic beside all the other stablemates in the garage!!!

CTR Delivery!!!
Finally, delivery occured today. Delayed a week as they had to order and install the Illumination Pkg. What a sweet car to drive. My regrets from losing our previous '98 Integra Type R has diminished. So much power and the shifting so short.
At home with the stablemates!!!
Illuminaiton Pkg. that delayed the delivery.
CTR taking here rest after a 50 mile first drive!!!
Ahh, what a beauty she is. When I was configuring my CTR on Honda's website, that was my favorite color choice. Congratulations on bringing her home!

Hey M, thanks for the kind words. If you have received your CTR delivery, you know how much of a joy it is to drive this Nippon Rocket. Smiles abound everytime those gears are shifted. This one is definitely a keeper!!!
My 4 boys all wish that the border would open up so they could travel up North to visit and drive endlessly.
Have been avoiding bad roads as Honda's paint job is not the thickest and CTR's are highly suceptable to chips especially on the side rockers. Will be doing PPF and ceramic coating this coming week. Once decently protected, serious driving time is inevitable!

CTR Alma Mater time!
While changing out interior bulbs to LED's, yesterday, decided to stick my alma mater colors. All my cars since college days have had it. My good luck charm!!!
With the sun out today, couldn't resist the urge to rack up addiitional break-in mileage.
Resting beside her big sister. Our poor Fit is getting lonely!

Drove CTR to our airport this morning. The experience gets better each time. Cornering abilities with this FWD is exceptional even in Comfort Setting and changing to R mode reconfigures throttle response, which is so addicting like morphine!!
Will not go over 4,500 rpm during engine run-in and Comfort keeps the temptation to redline at bay!!! LOL!!!

CTR Beach Drive
Took my new girl to the beach for some quick snapshots prior to dropping off for PPF and Ceramic Coating. Every drive is a continuing joy. Loving the short shifter. So exact and positive . Contrary to my initial impressions that Comfort setting would be my least used, have decided it best for break-in mileage. Figure that the desensitized throttle decreases the temptation to redline!!! LOL!!! Manual rev-matching, heel toe are so easy. I'm reliving my youth!!! The privilege of being able to share my ongoing observations of this well-built affordable performance vehicle in this forum is invigorating!!!

Partial Ceramic applied
First coat of ceramic application from the rear hatch to the front doors. That shine is getting better!!!
Eagerly anticipating PPF application. With paint protected, time for serious miles to be logged and enjoyed!!!

Complete OPPOSITE to our trusty GK Fit!!!
With the FK8 at the wrap shop, decided to take the Bentley for a well deserved ride. Have been ignoring her lately with the CTR taking all the attention these past three weeks. Seeing the huge improvement in the Type R's color depthness as a result of ceramic application, will be saving to have the GK Fit done later this summer. Still haven't installed the RSR springs!
Gotta give the "old lady" some attention with this excellent weather. It feels that I'm in a different income level when driving!!! So comfortable and super quiet. The stereo upgrade done earlier to integrate bluetooth phone music is paying dividends tenfold!
The one contribution of this COVID lockdown - gas prices dropped. This cougar will definitely be drinking her fair share!!! LOL!!!

They cover the BC Canadian plates when taking pics to maintain some privacy. Am not patient enough to do cropping - LOL!!!

An unsuspected treat!!
Picked up CTR from the wrap/ceramic guys today. Gotta say the paint looks deeply shiner. Very pleased with results. The bonus is I got to be close to a Ferrari Pista up front!!!' What a beut!!!
1st time to try Ceramic coating on any of the previous cars I've ever owned. Gotta say the results are outstanding!!! Smooth to the touch and the deep gloss is car show capable!!!
With the protected paint job this CTR is ready for piling up some serious driving!!!

R8 Relocation
After 4 years of driving pleasure, the R8 is headed to NYC to join my youngest son's GT3. It's time to share this affordable gentleman's supercar with other family members. He can enjoy the non-aspirated V8 and savor the different experience from his Porsche's flat 6.
Loaded into carrier yesterday headed for US Border Customs.
Pre-cleared by Broker and released today by US Customs.
In secured storage awaiting East Coast travel via enclosed transporter
CTR is the happiest having inherited the R8's vacated parking spot!
