So it looks like I will go another weekend without my Bisimoto exhaust; at least it is on its way...

In the meantime, after reading all the concerns here with gooey valves, CEL codes, and so forth, I've decided to join the Fit oil catch can crew. I settled on
this one this one
, Should be here on Sat.

I installed my Bisimoto exhaust today; documented here.

I also installed my oil catch can.

Thankfully the manufacturer labeled it for me in case I forget what it is...

I found this bracket in the garage; I think it's a garage door track bracket? It seemed like a good fit.

You're right. I guess Iwas confused; I am accustomed to the PCV being physically located on the intake. No harm in the short term but I will flip it later today. I wanted to buy and install a new piece of hose anyway; the piece I used was an old piece I had in the garage. Thanks for the heads up.

good news is, we caught it early!

after just 1 week of putting around town .... mine is already collecting a ton more oil than I anticipated. I'm hoping everyone else will check theirs weekly/regularly as well .... and find a means of measuring how much was collected over how much time/distance

I am very satisfied, and thankful I will be able to keep the Bisimoto without losing my hearing.

However my methods including the use of closed cell spray foam have caused some concerns... I am not concerned in the least and would not change anything...

Hey Rick where did you get the black/red center caps? I need those! (nevermind i missed the hyper link)( And also how does the wife like the ride lowered? The fit is my wifes but its our day off family travel car, need to make sure it can handle 4 adults and not slam everyone around?

(btw I used those spacers, had them on 2 years now with the conical lug nuts they came with, no issues, retorque at 7500k oil changes)
