sounds good on the install. no cutting is good. not that it's difficult to cut the pipe, but less work is welcome.
Yeah no cutting was nice; a few minutes and done. On the sport exhaust there is a bracket welded onto the pipe; it is used to secure the OE chrome tip. If the new tip needed to tuck any deeper under the car I would have had to cut/grind that bracket off, but thankfully I was satisfied with where it landed.

. That's what drew me to the tip. Akropovic does make some nice motorcycle exhausts. I have no experience with their car exhaust, but I would expect them to be good stuff too. I'm sure Ken knows...
any plans to glossy black vinyl da roof? unlike most cars u wont have to worry about making your antenna housing black since it already is.
No, not in the near term. It would look nice...

Come on man, rear wiper parallel to the deck is JDM for hybrids; thought everyone knew that.
Currently enamored with the wife's new to her 2015 Lexus NX200t. She previously had a 2008 RX350 of which I was not a fan. Dying to put an intake, exhaust, and tuning box on the NX. However, it is not my daily driver, and the wife is concerned I will make it "loud". She just doesn't get it...
congrats to ur wife. hummmm...dont mod da NX.. will make it sound cheap and all. lexus is a car u drive stock, especially a NX. my pops has one too and he likes it a lot. he's on his 2nd one and i thought there was a hybrid one..? before he had the RX350h? 300h? watever it was. but since getting older he wanted a smaller car. he takes it to the mountains all da time in jland cause he's a hiker .. also a golfer..

It's unlikely I will do anything to the NX. But compared to a Fit, the NX is a rocketship, (then again so is ANY new minivan compared to a Fit...). And tuning an NX could glean some decent power gains...
Not sure how an exhaust like say this tasty Tanabe Medallion Touring would sound cheap on an NX; sounds pretty nice and low key in the videos I've sampled.
On one hand, you were right about the aftermarket exhaust on the CVT.
On the other hand (as you tacitly admitted) you were soooo wrong about the sweet Rally Armor mud flaps.
the nx is pretty fast stock, I actually wanted one until I noticed how small trunk space was
I stopped paying attention to lexus "peformance" a long long time ago. last I checked, their ecu's were insane locked down, and it was impossible to get those tuned by a pro tuner as I could say .... if I drove a subaru wrx or a bmw 335i (or anything with an n54/n55 engine), and end result was a lack of a true peformance "market" for those cars
are those 2.0T lexus engines now finally unlocked? like can they be tuned, by any professional tuner?
I did read briefly about the burger jb4 tuning boxes, which is great for most who just want simple out of the box power. I'd be interested to see if these lexus' could finally join the rest of the world and actually make some real power, and be readily avail to the general public
