Best Fit Tires.

Yokohama Avid Ascend GT's. It's like floating on air.

I bought 195/55/15 Falken 950s off amazon for $65/tire. Great every day tires and have them on both of my cars.

I've got some rough roads, so I got these tires in 195/60/15 and I'm super happy with them. But 195/55 Falkens sound temping, too.

Depends on how you drive and what the weather in your area is like. My 15 has Yokohama Avid Ascent GTs. I'm a very spirited driver and they have solid cornering grip without hurting ride quality. Also I live on the US east coast where it rains a lot, so good wet performance is necessary. They do very well there as well.

I stick with Michelin and Goodyear. They have no weak spots and provide decent wear resistance.
Unfortunately my stock size is 185/55R16, and the most durable Michelin Energy Savers are not available in that size.

for a place like FL
these are amazing all season tires

in a place that gets snow
I'd get Bridgestone WEATHERPEAK 70,000 mile all seasons with the 3 peak mountain snowflake (snow tire rating)

When I got my '09 Fit Sport in October '08 it came with Dunlop SP Sport tires (or something like that) in 185/55R16 size. They were pretty crummy tires and I put up with them through the winter and spring of '09 while looking for a suitable alternative of which there really were none at the time, as only those Dunlops and a Bridgestone Turanza touring tire were the only tires I could find in that size. I started looking around on the net and found that 205/50R16 tires would fit the stock wheels and not interfere with anything, so I bought a set of Michelin Pilot Exalto tires and was very pleased with their performance all around. When it came time to replace them they were no longer available so I put Michelin Premiers on the car, and they, too, were great.

For my third set (I had that Fit for over 14 years) the Premiers were off the market so I did some more looking around and came across Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires that I bought in January of 2022. Last month (December '22) I traded the '09 Fit for a '19 Fit EX and I did not want the Firestone tires that were on the new car. As part of the trade-in deal the dealer said they would buy me new tires and install them if I could find a suitable set in the stock 185/55R16 size as they would not swap the 205/50R16 Continentals (that had less then 4000 miles on them) from my old Fit onto the new one because they were not the stock size and they said it could/would mess things up with the TMPS and ABS brakes (I don't believe that for a second but, hey, if the dealer was willing to buy new tires for the new car, okay!).

The new tires I found are Bridgestone WeatherPeak. So far, so good. So, for those of you looking for a stock size tire with excellent performance, check those WeatherPeak tires out.

Check out the tires I found for my "new" '19 Fit EX; Bridgestone WeatherPeak that come in the 185/55R16 size for the stock wheels.

So far they have been great. Rain, snow, spirited driving, etc.

Look at the testing charts on Tire Rack:
