What tires perform best for your driving conditions and style? "for looks" seems like an odd way to choose tires, which are arguably the #1 most important item that keeps your car on the road.

Looks should not even come up in the conversation when deciding on a tire. You my friend need to go on tire rack and take a Saturday to read...and read some more.

Take my advice seriously.

I ordered my Conti DW tires from Tirerack yesterday. They are currently $89 each which is an excellent price.

I have to agree. At $89/tire from tirerack, you can't get much better of a deal.

Try TireRack for performance data on the tires. You can usually depend on UTOG wear ratings for longevity and lap times, wet and dry, for performance. I suspect with 38mm offset you are going to be stuck with max 195 section tires. and maximum 23.5" diameter.

General Altimax HP's. Great directional tread, medium 55 profile. Stops/corners nice, very smooth/quiet ride. I run them at 48 psi, rated 51 max. Tread wear is excellent, these last a long time.
