Wheel offset and width question
Hello, I have a 2020 lx honda fit at stock height,I going to put 17s on it with 205/45/17 tires and need some assistance with the offset and width I should go with to eliminating any potential rubbing maybe close to the factory +38 for offset and 7,7.5, or 8 for the width

Few things, I believe our stock offset is ET50 or ET53, pretty sure its not 38? A 38 offset would probably stick out alot. There's also suspension considerations, you're more prone to rubbing with lowered suspension. I've got 205s on 7in rims and ET43. I don't rub, but I have stock height. If I lowered I would most definitely rub as my tires extend outside the body. There would probably no issues with internal rubbing with my setup lowered, just on the fender. With 8in wheels, lowered or not, you'll probably want to roll fenders for the look.
