wheel offset matter
wheel offset matter
Hello,
I own a 2018 Honda Jazz (facelift). Recently I have ordered some wheels. it is a 16”x7 38 offset and I am planning to use it with my currently new tyres which are 205/50/16. With an offset of 38, is it not going to look good? because some people say if i want it to look flush, then go with the offset of 35, but it’s too late for that

to answer your question, I can't say whether it will look good or not as that's all personal style. But if you want a reference check my post here: On my thread
I'm running the same width of wheel and tire, so with the exception of my wheel being an inch smaller and my sidewalls being half an inch larger, the width will be the same.
My offset is 41, which means your tires will poke out 3mm more than mine. On the rear your tires will be flush or close to flush, but expect for some poke in the front unless you roll your fenders.
On stock suspension you probably won't rub, but if you lower your car except to rub unless you roll your fronts.
Hope this helps!
