Go for 16's! The bigger the better looking for customization.

Hard to explain without pics. Seems majority of people like larger wheels on their car for looks. I'm only talking visual! Sites like Tirerack sometimes will show what a wheel looks like on your vehicle with different sizes.

This question would probably get better answers in the Wheel/Tire forum here.

If you are looking for better acceleration you might consider the lightest rims with light tires. Lightest will be the 15".

No matter what size of rim you decide on, consider the weight (lighter is better, everything else being equal).

Would getting 14 inch rims be even more lightweight and offer better comfort than 15 inch wheels?

There are trade-off's with sizing. As some have mentioned, be careful about the wheel weight, especially if you are moving up to larger diameter wheels. Cheaper cast wheels will be HEAVY and your suspension will feel different, likely you will feel the wheels thumping more. Even a cheaper "alloy" 15" wheel (that you can reuse your tires with) may give that feeling if it is too much heavier than your standard steel wheels. Basically, be an informed buyer! I just looked and tirerack actually gives you wheel weight and lets you sort by weight. Great tool to use!

Yes 14s are lighter in weight but needs to compensate with a hella chunky tire to achieve almost equal diameter of wheel plus tire.

But if you are really going for comfort, yeah this will be good. Not pleasing to the eyes though
