Tpms upgrade software

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

I came across this on one of the financial pages. The article claims that Honda has acknowledged this ongoing problem and has come up with a software upgrade to be performed at the Honda dealers.

I am approaching 57,617 miles on my 2015 Fit (see previous posts) and my warning light must have come at least a dozen times. And, only once was it accurate. There was a large bubble on the diver's front side tire at about 51,100 miles on the odometer.

Replaced all original Bridgestone tires with 4 new Michelins and still the TPMS light came on, even after 3,000 miles later.

The software upgrade is titled: TSB #14–006.

Hopefully, the article was accurate and this solves the annoying TPMS warning light problem.

I will be changing the transmission fluid as per maintenance suggestion at about 65,000 miles. (Approximately 4-5 weeks from this posting) and at that time I will do the upgrade.

Good luck. That TSB seems to be for the '14 CRV:
