Question 2018 Fit EX-CVT Maintenance Minder

Does everyone follow the Maintenance minder or do you service things before they are due? I know Honda says 3 year brake fluid change but other than that to just follow the Maintenance minder
Every time we get an oil change the garage adds caution, brake service, trans oil change, and wheel alignment. I checked the brakes myself they are like new, Got some new summer tires installed and the tire shop checked the wheel alignment and everything was good. I can not find a Schedule anywhere and read that Honda has done away with those in favour of the car telling you what to do. its a 2018 fit EX with 48K km on it.

2016-EX.
I checked my Owners Manual, and there is an extensive "Maintenance" section that includes "Maintenance Minder" information.
But I also could not find a printed recommended schedule that one could reference outside of the maintenance minder.

Cynically I would suspect this is to allow dealerships to apply their OWN recommendations, without fear of conflicting with a printed factory set of recommendations.

I just follow the MM. I'm overdue for the brake service.

Want to save money? Send me fifty bucks every time you go in for an oil change and I'll call the garage and tell them to go screw themselves. You don't need to do any of that stuff until the car tells you to.

My 2015's manual calls for service annually if the MM has not come on by then. With my mileage I've had to do that a few times.

Me to.
But that doesn't stop dealerships from stepping in with their own "recommendations".
It was nice when you could just point to a printed, factory recommended list, and say NOPE, not needed.
