Good quality aftermarket AC clutch kit?

2007 Fit with 220K miles has had a metallic sound coming from the serpentine belt area for at least a year. AC stopped working the other day and now the metallic sound is considerably worse, so believe the pulley bearing is finally going out. Not sure how this also stopped the AC from working, but I figure if I'm going to pull the pulley to replace the bearing, I might as well replace the clutch and coil since it seems it's a common problem at this mileage. I don't want to pay Honda OEM money for parts, so wondering if anyone had found a good or decent quality aftermarket clutch kit. I see there are a number of kits on Ebay but not sure if any of these are better than the others listed. AC low pressure is still fine, condenser fan kicks on with the AC button pressed, but the clutch just doesn't engage.

Thanks

You can buy a complete A/C compressor on eBay for under $120 and use any parts you need. Much cheaper than buying the Honda OEM parts. My 2007 Fit Sport M/T with 226,000 mi. now puts out nice cold air after a clutch failure and bearing spin which required replacing compressor. My total cost to repair was under $150 incl. R134a. An A/C shop quoted me over $1000 for an after market compressor replacement. Easy decision.

Thanks I purchased a clutch kit from Ebay. Lots of price variation but from what I could tell they were all the same kit. I'll report back on the perceived quality of this kit.

The Ebay compressor clutch kit seems like decent quality. The pressed bearing was marked "Hinks" instead of the OEM NSK so we'll see how long it lasts. The original clutch plate was deeply scored, and the bearing was pretty rough metal on metal but no play in it yet. I believe it was likely the metal on metal bearing generating a lot of heat that cooked the field coil. I couldn't get a screwdriver up between the body and AC compressor to remove the ground screw, so just ended up splicing the ground wire of the new field coil.
