AC Leak Detected Solution Needed
AC Leak Detected Solution Needed
Dear Guys,
I have a 2013 Fit Sport. The AC hasn't been working for years but I sprayed dye in it.
I found that the high line is leaking on both ends cause I can see the glow.
But what is stumping me, is that I see a lot of dye splattered all over the right side of the compressor and I'm wondering why.
The spray was big enough that even the alternator has spots on it.
I plan on replacing both lines for good measure but wonder what else could be causing a big spray.

Is it possible that the dye could have leaked down to the compressor where it might have been spun by the pulley?
Alternatively, if the car was ran would could the ac condenser fan have blown leaked dye around?
You may also have a leak where a line connects to the compressor, or within the compressor itself, but yeah id replace any seal or o-ring around before writing the compressor off
