Modern L series OEM turbo parts compatible with older versions?

Hi all, I'm planning on getting a second gen fit soon, and I want to try and make the car into a (semi) OEM turbo'd car so I can use as many off-the-shelf parts as possible. I don't want to go with an aftermarket kit if I don't have to because I'm not looking for high performance, mainly just having more torque so I can merge easier on the highway. I tried researching about using parts from modern L15B/C variants, but I couldn't find anything about it. I just wanted to see if anyone in here has any experience with using turbos and turbo parts on older revisions, or if anyone knows how interchangeable the turbo parts are on the L platform.

They're not interchangable at all. It shares the L designation but beyond that there's no crossover.
