Anyone know if a GE hatch assembly can fit inside the GE hatch? I did this a few times with my CRX but that's a different animal.

I need to replace my hatch but would rather not bring a trailer and strap down a giant piece of glass and metal.

 

Probably behind the front seats. The hatch is smaller than the center of the car (think teardrop shape) so it should fit there, I'd do the standing magic seats and then just fasten it down.

Source: Have never done this, but it looks doable.

 

I'd be surprised if it didn't. Maybe test it out with a big piece of cardboard.

 

A measuring tape is your friend...

 

Fit way easier than a CRX hatch in a CRX.

Fits sideways.

The guy saved the harness, flex grommet and water tube.

Probably could have stacked 4 on top each other lol.
