Power Locks - Flood Damage
Power Locks - Flood Damage
I’ll start by saying I don’t know much about wiring.
Three years ago my 2012 Fit got flooded. It runs fine EXCEPT that the power locks keep engaging repeatedly as I drive. It annoys me so very much.
I pulled the white wire-plug-thing (see first line) at each power lock on the doors and hatchback. So now when I drive, the locks don’t engage, but there is still a clicking sound near all the fuses and wiring under the steering wheel.
Knowing that I’m basically keeping this car limping along, is there a way to make that clicking stop? Or, where is the power source for the locks? Again, not very good with wiring.

So isn't there a feature that automatically locks the doors as you drive? Maybe your tailgate latch or one of the locks isn't reporting that it's locked. I would try checking each of the actuators to make sure they worked (don't forget tailgate).
Or, just disable the auto-lock feature to test and maybe potential permanent fix. You'll probably have to reconnect driver's side door lock to disable. Owner's Manual should have instructions for disabling auto-lock feature.
Another option is to drive at less than 9 mph, I think, to test auto-lock theory.
Short of that, maybe a relay to unplug if it's not auto-lock causing your issue.
