Howdy!

Just bought my wife an 07 fit with 140k on it got a smoking good deal on it. But there are a few issues.. first the rear power windows are unresponsive! (Front work fine) and the power locks do not work at all. Also the radio is asking me for a code!

I figured out how to get the serial # from the radio.. but still need to call honda and see about getting the code.

I checked the fuses for the power windows and locks.. all are fine. The front right headlight was out also, and when I went to change it I noticed the terminal was all burned up!

I'll be fixing that today, but could that somehow be causing a problem with the power windows /locks?!

Any help/ tips are appreciated!!

One member found broken wire on the door harness (inside of the boot).

 

The fact that both are not working is likely an important clue. Both could have failed independently but the odds are against that. But yeah, a good place to start is checking the wires into the doors for breaks. It's an obvious weak point because the wires get flexed there.
