I have an 08' Sport 1.5L 5MT i recently purchased with a known AC problem, first Honda ive owned.

-AC turns on (clutch engages) and i hear a rattle/grinding noise from the area
-With the AC off, clutch disengaged, no noise
-With the AC on, the air inside blows cold still

Is there anything else to troubleshoot before I throw a new compressor at it?
