Listening here!! Listening to the Dealer (Service Manager is a Friend). 2017 Fit early build, VTC Rattle 47,000 miles. Has anyone tried to interrupt the power to the injectors in an attempt to build oil pressure without starting? Thinking maybe integrating a toggle in cabin connecting to injector power supply from fuse box at single wire before it splits to individual power wires to supply injectors. Thinking a couple of seconds no start will build oil pressure sufficient to make this a non-issue. Service Manager said he will take my $1200. for the repair but said he was sure the noise will come back. He stated they have to date never had an engine failure that they could blame the VTC Rattle. Love the car, can't stand the Rattle.

VTC is a common problem with these cars, You not fixing anything by adding a wire and switch to the system in any way.

There is no fix for this issue. Except for to remove and replace the worn or broken products. I've replaced mine twice now, better get use to it.
