Honda Fit 2009 front wipers not working Intermittent/Low
Honda Fit 2009 (Second Generation): The front wipers work on "High" and the rear wipers, washer work too. But the wipers do not work on “INT”(intermittent mode) and “LO” (low mode). 2 years ago, we installed a new wiper switch and new wiper motor but the condition did not change. I found the wiring diagram attached. It shows: Fuse #56 supplying the power. Then it the MICU, the Combo Switch and the Orange wire work together to control the Intermittent/Low speeds; the area I am having problems with.
I watched this video and confirm when I moved the wiper switch to Low and Intermittent the power is not coming to the wiper connector.
"How to Diagnose Your Car's Non-Functioning Windshield Wiper Motor"
3 possible problems:
1. There is a open between the Combo Switch and MICU
2. There is an open in the MICU. When the windshield wiper switch is moved to LOW and Intermittent, the signal is sent to the MICU but MICU is not responding .
3. Orange wire has an open between MICU and the wiper motor.
How can I find out which of the 3 above is the one?
