Talking Car Play Head Unit: Any recos?

Anyone install an Apple Car Play head unit in the place of the stock receiver in a 2nd Gen (GE 08-13) they like? 2012 Fit? Couldn't find anything here after searching. Thanx!

Best upgrade for the money I made hands down. I really just needed something with Bluetooth and wireless CarPlay. The large screen is an absolute plus. got a no named China brand one off of AliExpress. $70 total but had to wait 3 weeks for delivery but so worth the wait. Everything came with it so no need to buy additional harnesses, dash kits or spending time fusing wires together. The install was a breeze and is plug and play unless you adding a backup camera. If you search on AliExpress/Temu etc for 2009 Honda fit apple CarPlay, dozens will pop up

That actually looks pretty good. You have a link to it?

Jumping in, I really recommend to anyone that buys one of these units to spend a bit more and get an 8 core/4gb ram unit. The cheap included fans on these will go bad and start to make noise, so have a 40x10mm 5v fan to install in the future. I'd also suggest to install the civic media controls on the left side of your steering wheel, I felt like I had to stretch to turn up/down the volume easily.

i love to have a physical knob, which is funny cause honda made the touchscreen version of the radio then in the last versions they added a physical vol knob which is funny,, i do say i have seen a physical knob on 1 version specifically,,

and its the ugly *giant* telsa like radio, but i do no reccomend,, not cause its fucking hidious but its because it covers 1 or both center ac vents -_-

cause why not only be too fucking hige but lets cover the 1 thing that cools/warms you up

But over all theres a true alternative and the *best* radio you can get, maybe a good high speed Sony, or a nice Kenwood radio but overall its a honda fit.. a cheap touchscreen radio is perfect and its really good
