I know for sure that the skunk2's the stiffer of the two and the Tanabe's are really SMOOTH. Not sure about how the handling compares but I would imagine the skunk2's would have better handling because they're stiffer and aren't progressive.

I'd say for strictly DD go with the tanabe's, but if u dont mind a bit of a bouncy-er ride, go with the skunk2's.

I've had no experience with the skunk2's but have heard that they are harsh. But I'm sure they're more bareably then my set up. LOL

I went with the skunk2s since the drop from the pics looked great and the price was definitely right. I got them on eBay for cheap $135 shipped. I just put them on literally 2 hours ago so no impressions yet.

A hand full of the Tanabes sit like ass. I wouldnt chance it.
sam21 has/had Tanabes. He hates then with a passion. And to be honest, the front of his car doesnt even look lowered.

The rear does.

progressive means that when you look at the spring the closer the spring is to each other when it is coiled the more comfortable the ride is. when the spring is linear the coil is spread out more over the length of the spring. linear = stiffer more towards racing aspect. a combination of both would be pretty good for DD.
