New fit owner

I have looked in the manual and looked at the dome light and I cannot figure out how to pop the cover off without damaging it. Help Please

My husband is away and the light is out - i have the replacement

You need to wedge something preferably plastic in-between the gray trim and the clear cover as it's two separate pieces. The gray part is bolted onto the roof. Good luck!
