09 GE, 7507 LED front ambers.. do I need a load resistor?

Thinking about getting amber 7507 LEDs for the front turn signals on my GE. Not sure if I need to buy a separate load resistor (like I did for the rear LED turns).

If so, what ohm/watt do I need? (The rears needed 6ohm/50w).

Thanks for any input!

Do you need load resistor if you do the back up lights to leds?

If you do replace the front turn bulbs with LED they may not last very long. SuperbrightLEDs.com warns against using their products inside the headlight housing due to reduced life span. Yes, you probably will need a resistor, so that they will flash at the proper rate.

713 fit, I don't think you need resistor for backup lights. resistor is to only prevent rapid flashing because LEDs have less resistance than regular bulbs.

As for burning out LEDs, that only happens if the LEDs are bad quality. Like the older generation weak bulbs that take 9-15 LEDs all crammed together. The newer SMT 1Watt LEDs should do better. Also heat is an issue if it's in the same projector housing as the main bulbs, which is not the case for the GE.
