Which should I buy?

I have recently been in an accident that totaled my CRX, and finally have an excuse to buy a family car. Don't get me wrong, I am a Honda enthusiast, and this Fit so far looks like the best fit for me. Now, which model/year should I buy?

If it matters at all, I take a lot of pride into the car I drive. Clean, stock, JDM, that kind of thing. Not to big a fan of the wide body kit, or fender flares, nothing like that. I would be lowering it, lower and upper strut bars, and other minor mods as well.

As a starting ground what would be the best route? I saw that some models come with a GPS, and my wife would probably like to have that. So if I was to pick up a "lower" model, would installing that GPS be too big of a deal, or would it just be better to get the lower model and buy a Tom Tom or Garmin?

Also, how difficult would adding a new stereo be? I would like to have a cd player with the MP3 capability, and an AUX cord, but it looks like there really isn't much you can do with the stock radio, but do all models come stock with MP3 and AUX?

Sorry for the million question, everything in the Fit world is new to me and no other 4 door Honda looks as appetizing as this Fit.

Thanks in advance.
