Ticking noise coming from front of cabin (only at highway speeds)!!

Hello all! I have had my 2010 fit sport since mid October! I am lovig the car so far except for one thing! When i'm on the interstate doing 50mph+ in 5th gear with the radio on/off there is a faint ticking sorta noise which sounds like it's coming from the front door speakers! I have tried shuffling stuff around in the glove box and that did not fix the problem! I also noticed that when I accelerate the sound becomes a little louder! I have heard of this kind of thing before but cant think of the name! Any inof/advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

Scott

Keychain maybe? That's probably a stretch, but worth checking out.

Checked that and every coin/cup holder for any sort of loose change and the noise is still there!

There is a plastic piece that sits above the passenger side windshield, down by where the small windshield wiper rests. The piece vibrates at high speed, causing it to hit the windshield and produce a clicking sound. Try shoving something into the gap like you'll see at the link.

I just had that rattle fixed last week. It seems like an easy fix, but I took it to the dealer since the Fit is still under warranty and Honda will have a record of the problem now. All they did was put some EPT tape underneath it.

definitely take it to the dealer if you can afford the time. Point to the offending piece of plastic. Kinda like this:

That's how it made me feel.

Haha. I will give it a try and see if that solves the problem! Thanks for all of the replies!
