Kraftwerks Supercharger in Thailand?
So.. I've been trying to find out if I can purchase the Kraftwerks supercharger here in Thailand and if it would fit my car.
They call it a Jazz here, it's the 2007 model, driver on the right hand side, and it's an A/T.
I emailed the sales staff at Kraftwerks asking if it's possible to get it over here and got a reply 24 days later saying they ship all over the world. I then asked if it would fit my car and how much shipping would be, but still no reply. That was about 2 weeks ago.
Does anybody know the answers I am looking for? I'm really keen on getting the KWSC kit for my car but if it's going to be too difficult then I'll just stick to getting a turbo kit made here.
Thanks in advance

1. The intake pipe would most likely be in the way of brake master cylinder.
2. If Thailand's front end is just like the Japanese front end, then the hood will not clear some of the piping in the base kit. (US Fit's with a JDM front end needs to modify some supports for the pipes to make it fit)
3. If you were thinking about the intercooler, it will not work since the inlet for the intercooler is on the opposite side.
4. I'm not too sure on this one, where the Rotrex sits, it might be in the way of the steering rack.
5. The fuel management / tuning would be an unknown factor.
I know the Kraftwerks crew, and they probably have not gotten back to you because they probably want to be 100% curtain with their answer (hence why I am not 100%, but that's my educated guess as a Kraftwerks kit owner imagining why it wouldn't work on a right hand drive). Unfortunately, those guys are also super busy with many projects and the staff isn't big, so it might have gotten lost. Hopefully that answers your question.
thanks for the really detailed reply wytt, i appreciate ur effort with my reply. since my original post kraftwerks has replied to me and said it should fit a right hand drive car, so i'm going to try and find out for sure if it is possible.
i just thought i would ask here as i figured there must be someone outside of the US who drives a car like mine who runs the KWSC... unless, like u said, it actually isn't possible with my car.

I hope it works out and fits without any major problems. Maybe if you could, when you are installing it, you can document the differences you encounter from the left hand drive instructions to actually installing it to a right hand drive for any other right hand drive owners look for a KWSC. I really hope it works out because I love the crew at Kraftwerks and this can open up a new market for them and because it is a great product

HI Everyone,
I have just installed the ROTrex supercharger on mY HOnda City 2010 here in Thailand. I am running 0.5 bar pressure, Greddy Ultimate emanage, ATS racing brakes, TEIN Superstreet suspension, Fujitsubo racing exhaust, ATS 1.5 helical LSD. On the Dyno it gave 149 bhp at the wheels so a whole lot of fun.
Have some teething issues with the engine mounts being too soft and some vibration through the chassis when on boost. Also the Greddy and standard Honda ECU are not quite working together yet but should be sorted out by next week. Getting some conflict between the Greddy and Honda ECU on air flow and fuel which caused the HONDA ECU to put the car into GET HOME mode which was quite boring.
So to your question yes you can get the L15A supercharged in Thailand but its not without teething issues

Supafly,
You can ring Robin in Bangkok on 08 92320125. He has been great and really takes care of his customers and the cars he takes on. I know that he has done a JAZZ and a VIOS before and has just done my CITY but is still working out a few of the bugs on it as outlined in my last post.
Good luck.

how much did it cost you, if you don't mind me asking? also, does the guy who did yours have a website? thanks again!
Altogether the supercharger has cost about140 000 baht including tuning but not extra parts such as the LSD, brakes etc. The best thing you can do is give him a call as he also speaks very good English and Thai of course.
I know this thread is a little old now, but I just wanted to ask you guys if $5000 is a lot of money for a supercharger kit (using the rotrex c15-16 supercharger) plus f-con (or similar) plus installation and tuning for the fit? That's roughly how much I've been quoted over here..
I was also quoted between $450 - $600 to swap from A/T to M/T - is this a lot? Is it worth it?

HI Supafly, doesnt seem like to many guys want to answer you :-) Anyway, firstly who is doing it or you? The guy i did the conversion with charged 130 000 for the supercharger plus extra for the piping, tuning and installation. You could buy the kraftwerks kit but the problem is that its made for the US market cars and not JDM so alot of the brackets etc wont fit. I spoke to a guy at kraftwerks before deciding what to do and he wasnt sure the kit would fit either so i decided to just fabricate the parts needed. The shop hat did this in bkk were great as they do alot of the tuning and preparation for Honda one make race series and supercar series. Gearbox conversion sounds about right. I am using the greddy ultimate on mine but fcon is a better choice as i ahve just fitted it on my civic and it works great. I guess all up i havespent about 200 000 on the engine so far boosting at 0.5 bar. Have just ordered engine upgrades such as racing pistons, valves, intercooler, larger pulleys and some other goodies so i can go up on boost. Hope this helps you and if you need any more info them PM me and we can talk.
Hey Clong, thanks again for all the info! I spoke to the guy you gave me the number of and he was really helpful and explained all his pricing to me, though I just wanted to see how it compares to pricing elsewhere. I understand what you mean about the possibility of the KWSC kit not fitting our cars here in Thailand and I would really prefer a pro to install it properly than doing it myself (lack experience and time).
One thing he said that I wasn't so sure about though was that he claims he can only get around 110hp from a A/T Jazz, and around 150hp from a M/T jazz, though I've read on this forum about people with an A/T getting much more than 110hp. I figured the guy knows what he's talking about, but that was something I was curious about. I'll PM you about other stuff

Well, you will ale to get more out of the auto but not without changing some internals for the engine. I would just change it to manual as its jst easier than having to worry about the torque converter and ATF overheat issues. I think the manual conversion is an easy one and since you will be runninga engine management anyway you shouldnt have any issues witht he electronics. Robin is very good and he does know his stuff plus he follows up and takes responsibiliy for the work which is somewhat uncommon in Thailand if you know what i mean. anyway. Glad to help. I have ordered the internal upgrades and intercooler as well so that i can go to higher boost. Should be even more fun then than it is now. Its just fantastic with the supercharger.
Just a small question: KraftWerks themselves sell their S/C kit in Thailand?
If not, where do you get your superchargers from? The closest place to Southeast Asia I heard of for Rotrex superchargers was Australia.
Thanks in advance

We ship our KraftWerks supercharger kits worldwide, but they have not been installed in Thailand. I would be interested in knowing how our kit fits RHD and how the SuperCard electronics perform on a Thailand 1.5L.
