Does anyone know if you NEED the hooks for the all season floor mats for it to stay put for the 09/10 model?

if you're referring to the oem ones, i got those and i'm not using any hooks. they fit pretty secure. pretty damn expensive, but at least i got them as a b-day present =D you may wanna invest in the all season cargo tray as well. i didn't think i needed it, until a pop can exploded in my trunk soaking the crappy cardboard/carpet

I originally got the carpet ones and they look great; however, I found myself not wanting to get 'em dirty w/ mud and what not. So I ended up getting the all season/rubber ones. They're not as nice, but now I don't care if my shoes are dirty before getting in the car. Just take the mats out & wash 'em.

I only put the hooks on for the front mats & just lay down the ones in the back.

Get the all season, they look great and easier to clean. Also look at Weathertech version I think they look better than OEM.

All weather Honda's are crap. I replaced them with the Weather Tech's which are of amazing quality. The all season's are substantial but still shift (mostly the passenger and rears because the driver side is anchored). Spend the extra money and do it right, you regret the $80 or so dollars you spend on the All weather mats a month or so after you purchase them.

Agreed. The passenger mats slides forward basically every time someone gets in, and I just pulled out my driver's side mat the other day to expose a winter's worth of salt, sand and other crud that had migrated its way under the mat from the front left (near the dead pedal). Bah.

OP, go with the Weathertech's - I've heard good things about them!

I'm a big fan of the Weathertech liners. They absolutely stay in place, are so deep that virtually nothing gets past them, and when they need cleaning, I just pull them, spray with a cleaner, scrub, and hose off. I have not seen the OEM all-weather mats, but I can't believe that they work as good and (if I remember correctly) they cost as much as or more than the Weathertechs. Since I rarely carry passengers, I got front only, and just use some cheap rubber mats for the rear seats. The Honda cargo area liner is similar to the Weathertechs, and I can state from experience, is needed in the back. If something spills, just pull it and hose down.

After a full winter with them, I'm a firm believer in the Weatherteck floorliners. NOTHING spills over the edge and they're ridiculously easy to clean. I really like that I can remove them without spilling dirt and mud inside the car. I have carpeted mats I bought with the car, but I may just leave the Weathertechs in year 'round.

I still need something for the cargo area, though.

I installed the locking clips yesterday -- it took all of about 20 minutes with a sharp knife and a metal straight-edge. The all-season mats are pretty light-weight (unlike the thick rubber mats in my VW), so the locking clips are probably a very good idea.

I regret getting the Factory All-Weather. If I could do it over I would shell out the $$$ for the WeatherTech floor liner.

Heck, I wore a hole under the accelerator pedal in the factory carpet mats in just 6 months. Of course, you can't buy JUST a replacement driver's mat, you have to buy the set of 4. If I knew then what I know now. Weathertech liners FTMFW!

Or, save some money on something you're basically just using to step on, and get these. I'm really happy with them.

I agree with you. The driver front is too small and doesn't hold any dust or dirt in it. My carpet is all dirty around it as sand just falls off them. I wish I went with the weathertech.

I just bought some Honda Floor Mats online and they're the best ones I've found yet! They are so much better than the ones I bought at auto zone. They actually fit and blend to the carpet, so they don't slide around.
