How can I remove spoiler and cover the holes?

I want top remove the spoiler from the rear hatch of my '08 sport, and keep it off. I bought the car used, and want to ys it to carry bicycles using a Thule rear hatch rack (steel strap type, which I own). I will not put bikes on the roof, do please don't suggest it.

Are there any aftermarket covers, for the holes? Has anyone else done this? Or should I just try fabricating a cover?

Thanks!

It is a series of rectangular holes with rounded corners.

I traded hatches with someone instead. You could find some plugs that fit OK at a hardware store or some place like that and then stick them on with some silicon.

Your best bet is to try to sell the spoiler to someone on FF and use the money to have a shop fill in the holes properly.

Hey there,

We had a customer who removed their rear wing on their Fit too and wanted to cover the holes with the most cost effective way.

We actually covered the holes with a strip of 3M carbon vinyl. It looked pretty good actually, not only did it cover the holes, it also provided a unique cf look in the rear with the vinyl.

This might work for you, if you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to PM me, we can supply the vinyl as well if you give me the dimensions you need.

Cheers!

Regards,

Jason @ AJR
