I just bought my first new car this weekend, a 2010 Red Honda Fit Sport. What a sweet ride. Got if from Brewster Honda, in brewster, NY.

1 Question though, What model fit comes with the radio controls on the steering wheel? I thought mine should have it, but it doesnt. Other than that, I love this car, so much fun to drive!

 

The only one that comes with the controls on the steering wheels are the ones with navigation...

But there are a few threads on here where people have added those controls to the model that you currently own. Check those out and maybe you can do it!

 

Unfortunately...I have a 2010 Sport-Non-Navigation...it's only the Sport with Navigation that get the radio controls.

I'd of liked the steering wheel controls but it isn't a deal breaker. The controls for the radio are so well designed and thought out that reaching the 3 inch's to the right to use them isn't a problem. Plus speed sensitive volume control helps make it so I don't usually have to make adjustments while driving.

So far for me the stock stereo system in The Fit has been one of the pleasant suprises. At first I didn't particularly like it, but I think the sound is good and ergonomically it's is very well laid out.

 

Yea its not a deal breaker, but i was looking forward to it. I love the radio, I use my ipod all the time in it, sounds great. THanks for the info guys!!

as for modding it, I dont think I will, its not really a big deal. Just thought the dealer didnt know what he was talking about....and wanted to make sure.
