Should i get a fit?

Currently i'm driving an rsx type s and i love but i want something a little better on gas hence the fit. I don't want to give up the bit of performance i have with the rsx so how would a turbo fit compare to a stock rsx. I'm not looking to race anything or put a k-swap in it i just want a car that responds when i hit the throttle and doesn't eat up gas. All opinions and input is welcomed, thanks.

Go to your local dealership and take one out for a test drive. I think you'll be surprised. Test drive a "Sport" that has the paddle shifters and one with a manual shift....I think you'll be pleased either way and if you're not looking to race, as you stated, the Fit will be more than enough.

The Fit has plenty of pep for a tiny little sipper. As above noted, best bet is take a sport out for a test and see how it feels. I have always enjoyed zipping around in the Fit and would always recommend it, a great little car.

If you do get a Fit I would boost it. You will be giving up performance if you get a Fit. I went from a Fit to an Si because I missed that "performance." The Fit is very fun to drive in it's own way. I'd also recommend a manual transmission.

Get the manual, it would be the only harken back to the fun you have in the RSX. I went opposite of TurboManGT from an '06 Si to the Fit. I had a kid (now 2 kids) and a 50 mile commute, the Fit was the smart way to go for me. Make sure it feels right to you, look deep into your heart as this was definitely a tough decision for me, my fatherly conscience got the best of me in a moment of weakness. But in all, I am glad I got that little shit, it's one fun car! And hey, you could always go certifiably nuts like Felixy (see 1up heart transplant in the pics & vids section).

a turbo fit should hang with an rsx s all day...power to weight is so close it would be a driver's race.
