Ok here`s one. Auto door locks squeeling after 6 months ownership.

It kinda rotates on all of them.

Water getting in there?
Should I pop the panels and grease myself?
Go to dealer?

Does it rotate to all four doors and the hatch? The lock is part of the latch so its all in the same assembly. Speaking locally of course we have had a batch of noise actuator/latch assemblies lately.

Nothing to grease afaik, its sealed. Dont pop panels especially under warranty, some dealers get all jittery when people do that. I would go to dealer, as its probably going to require new latches......and water? Nah.

My stereo randomly cuts out momentarily after I let up on the accelerator and coast before breaking. The music goes silent, deck remains normal. I only use the iPod and haven't double checked this with the regular radio. But I have tested the iPod in different situations. Could I possibly be losing power/connection from the deck to the iPod via connector cable? Could it be a fuse thing? Everything else seems to be tip top. No other electrical issues as of yet.

Thanks in advance for your help,

FB

I've got this problem as well and it rotates randomly from driver's door to rear passenger door... I'm 99% positive that if I go to the dealership they won't be able to replicate the problem as it's intermittant

Should I just keep hitting the locks and record the sound with my phone? Good enough?

try it without the ipod. sounds like a poor connection to me. is it a apple adapter or a generic one? fuse? doubt it. usually it either works or it doesnt.

Do you know how to explain a perception of an unstable 2012 sport MT compared to 2010 sport MT? Tires are fine, cars have never been wrecked.

Do you know if there were any changes in the suspension between 2010 and 2012?
Thank you.

Bonylad, I have a situation with my 09

Perhaps you can help point me in the right directio

I have a fuel smell than happens whenever I drive the car only and it started after I had my valves adjusted and a screw extracted from my valve cover. Took it back to the shop and they said they didnt notice any leaks but that it could be fuel injector o rings as it looked clean around 1 injector. They also told me to drive around locally on recirculate and use fresh air when on the highway to avoid the fumes.

its been over 15k since the service and while the smell hasnt gotten better, it hasnt gotten worse either, leading me to believe it could be something else.

What troubleshooting steps can I take and where do you recommend I start looking? I dont want to keep paying $125 diagnostic fee for poor advice.

Thanks!

Ill look into that. None that I am aware of. You say tires are fine....are they the same size and make/model?
