Just got a GD 2005 fit, few small questions

Hi guys,

Just purchased a 2005 GD Fit (Japanese import model) and I have a few small questions.

If I were getting 15" aftermarket rims what offset/ pcd and tire size do I need to fit perfect?

The stock stereo, does it control anything else like central locking or dome lights? I want to get rid of it but know Civics for example usually you cant just remove teh stock stereo without it harming the keyless locking.

What octane fuel is best to use?

Thanks!

Your post hit here on a Sunday Night. It is now 6:42 AM. You might get some Asian members but the US is definitely asleep now or just waking up.

^^ Cosign on 87 octane.

As for offset, PCD, and tire size...

You can easily run a 15 by 6 or 6.5 on a 185/55r15 or 195/55r15 with an offset from +38 to + 55 mm. For 205/50r15s, an offset of +42 is the lowest most can go without rubbing or fender modification at stock height.

15x7s are also do able with 205s but again, +42 is the lowest most can go without rubbing or modification at stock height.
