Cosmetic issue, repair botched, possible recourse?
Cosmetic issue, repair botched, possible recourse?
*****The dealership made good on their claims to make it right and we left with a new vehicle with 9 miles on it******

I'd say you're done with the dealership and need to move up the food chain to the Honda district manager. Tell them that you're done with this dealership and need to be made whole without any fuss. I hope they would hear you.
If this doesn't get their attention, time to picket the dealership. I'm not kidding. As long as you don't violate any local ordinances - and only give facts, no slander - you're golden. Do it on a Sat. morning when they're the busiest. If you have kids and a family, put them in front too. That might get a settlement in a hurry.

TLDR version: Brought car in for oil change, there was an issue with the tape on the window trim panel. Instead of fixing it, they ripped the tape off the other 3 doors. 6 attempts later (and other damage caused) its still not fixed and we're told they can't fix it.
Not sure where to go from here.[/QUOTE]
Have you thought to take any time stamped pictures?

Unfortunately we have not taken pictures, but the initial damage and all subsequent damage has been thoroughly documented on both our end and theirs. At this point the dealership and the technicians are becoming frustrated at our unwillingness to give into their subpar work and feel we should just roll over and take the car back because it is just a cosmetic issue.
Surely there must be an district manager overlord of the CEO you're dealing with? That's where I'd start. That person's name might not be accessible through typical channels. You might have to query at a different dealership. Get that person's name and number and make an appt to explain your situation, as customer service doesn't seem to be getting you anywhere.
