DIY clutch pedal rubber replacement video

hello! its been a while that i logged in, but i am always lurking!
not sure what to call the subject here but essentially its what it says.

the rubber on my clutch pedal wore through and because i get to walk through wet grass in the mornings the pedal always a bit slippery. after thinking about this a little i decided to get some simple grip tape and put in on the pedal to try.

the tape i am using is designed for slippery steps but skateboard grip tape would work too. this is a 5 minute, $5 dollar mod.
I really like it. supper grippy but not like my foot will get stuck.

here is the link to youtube.

comments appreciated & welcome!

I wonder how long this will last.
Have you looked up how much the original rubber piece would cost and whether it's available?
Good it works for you.
Mine has some visible wear on it but didn't rub through yet.
