Rear Shock Replacement 2009

Hi everyone, had my 09 about three weeks now and looking to replace the rear dampers. I was under doing the oil the other day and it looks fairly straightforward (plus I have the electronic service manual as a guide). Any advice or heads up? I'm reasonably competent, done a fair bit of mech. work but definitely no expert...Thanks and cheers-this has already been a great place for tips and tricks.

yes its pretty easy.

if your doin straight OEM replacement, you are good to go.

if you decide to get aftermarket like Koni, Bilstein etc. U will have to remove the dust boot from the OEM. you will need to dremel out the nub that keeps the spacer down.

Thanks for the info, it looks pretty straightforward. Probably going to just do OEM replace for now. Try and switch it out when I put winters on and bleed brakes, under the car day...Cheers
