Not sure how many of you have ran into this issue like me but the cheap leather on my OEM Honda center armrest ripped awhile back from the Southern California heat along with my elbow resting there plenty of times.

Have any of you replaced or had it restitched with other sorts of fabric?

 

if you mean the console type armrest, it's not real leather. I ended up carefully covering it with black gaffer tape. Doesn't look too bad.
