Just wondering how hard is MT Hamilton...sadly I haven't been there yet, let to compare it to HW9 because I drive there petty often on my days off (with gas) LOL

 

Slimjim - just curious ---- do you happen to drive a TW fit w/ Black rims and a red lip? like Rota Auto-x's or something? I saw one a week or so ago rolling by me.. maybe that was you?

Nope my fit is bone stock other then a boardway mirror ATM, waiting to fully pay off my credit card to buy myself a navi, I keep getting lost at SF

last minute notice, i'll be joining you guys, i'll be leaving a little late from stockton probably around 9-10 so i'll be around the san jose area probably 11-12pm i just hope i dont get lost

 

Mt. Hamilton Road is Hwy. 9 X 4 if you drive it fast. If you mess up, you have 3 times as far to fall. Just don't mess up.

 

With all these people backing out and joining in last minute, i lost my exact count last night. My educated guess will be 15 Fits!

Well, we had a total of 16 Fits! Thanks a LOT to everyone who came. This was an interesting trip in spite of the incoming bad weather (that we just missed), in spite of slow "land yachts" that wouldn't get out of the way, in spite of slow chopped hogs that couldn't get out of the way without grinding away their transmissions or exhausts on the curves, and in spite of fat cops yelling at the all Fits with missing front license plates.

I regret downplaying the food, and special thanks to Mike Wong (macbuddy) for bringing the hot chocolate and hot dogs. However, so many people missed the park on the way up, if we had planned to use it for elaborate food preparation for lunch, we would have starved anyway.

If we keep growing in numbers ( as I hope that we do), we won't fit at Artist Point on Mt. Diablo anymore. So for the first meet in the spring, we will need a BIG parking lot, and facilities for food preparation for a FEAST like we had at Mt. Diablo.

Well put Dave!

I had a blast, it was the funnest meet i have ever been to! We had a great show of great people! The drives were pretty hardcore going up and down(good thing we were accident free), but all the drivers seemed pretty top notch! I found that telescope thing, amazing! And you cant beat a free tour! All and all, it was awesome! My dad had a ton of fun aswell! Thanks to all who came!

Very nice vids on the new pics & vids thread! I wish that we were not restricted to 10 minutes on YouTube. The hosting site for the cheap FlipVideo cameras allow at least 12 minutes- probably more, but I haven't tested it yet.

Videos look like a really good way to display our meets, and you did a good job.
