Hey Tool just remembered that since we are going to try and have the meet in central CA then we should also get a hold of some fit members in that area and they can be of real help in organizing this since it is going to be held in their backyard.

Having a mini road trip with everyone here sounds like it is going to be really fun. I know i am getting ahead of myself but do you think we would need walkie talkies for the small road trip?

Yeah we should talk to some central cali Fits forsure!

As far as walkie talkie's, we dont all need them, but the leader of the group and the last person in the caravan should have then so they can stay orginzed, thats how big motorcycle groups do it aswell!

Cell phone numbers are helpful in these situations as well. Sometimes the people organizing/in charge/in the lead will have a list of everyone's cell # in case anyone in the pack gets lost or seperated.

I'd be down to camp in refresh mode

Also, we should work on an all cal meet after we get better response on our local meet.

well worst case scenario is that there will not be much FITS as we would expect but we there will still be a meet regardless the outcome and has to be more fits then the last meet we had.

ANYWAYS!!! At my day job I do alot of dealings with planning events at hotels so I get special rates all over the East Bay if that might help, as well as awesome rates if I needed to rent a hall for indoor meet purposes! Let me know if this service is needed.

Lightbulb How to make it sucessful

So let me help you guys out and break it down for you.

**THIS WOULD NOT BE THE FIRST MINI-CAR CONVENTION I'VE ORGANIZED** I've organized a car show at a HIGH SCHOOL and a little over 100 vintage cars showed, sorry it wasn't for imports.

What helped make it sucessful is making it in support of a non-profit organiztion, advertising, and many different activities going on for an all day event.

EXAMPLE:
It's around Christmas time, we support one of those clothes drives, because it becomes non-profit, HONDA can advertise for us and advertise more FIT sales, we charge entry for non-FIT/JAZZ vehicles that do not bring donations, and we have judging events where fitfreak moderators (like JDMChris and TOOL) are the judges for the best Fits and possibly a model show (the toy kind). To attract more hype we can have auctions for fitfreak gear or car parts. All the profit goes to the non-profit organization of our choice and whatever materials we needed (fliers, stages, etc) doesn't come out of our pockets and don't forget everything becomes tax deductable, so the gas and miles can been written off.

Questions? Comments? Concerns?

I think this would be very successful to get advertising through Honda because it can be comparable to those Scion Shows by Toyota.

Don't forget to add me to the list , BUT WOW for thinking big. If it an all fit car show like Damzil::Jazzmin is planing, I don't mind helping out, since I used help out in a few anime conventions. The key thing with planing out an convention is money because renting the place is going to COST A LOT. Sponsors will be a great idea to include, just make sure you give them lots of credits. But if this does go big, getting sponsors would and could get easy. Plus if we do this as a regular thing People/Companies will be begging to get in .
