Dang. I've been asking tire stores how much they charge for lowering/alignment. One guy said $289, another guy said $450. They acted like it was hard or something. One of the places also said "a fit? which car is that?"

Well, I bought a spring compressor for $14. I'm going to borrow a bolt gun. All I need is the hex/octagon wrenches. Then find somewhere cheaper for alignment. I'm probably going to take forever to do it because I gotta see when a friend of mine is available to help me. Well, wish me luck!

Put the springs in yourself and get a lifetime alignment at Firestone for $169.
After 2 and a half alignments, you'll break even and anymore after that and you'll come up.

Since I put in my new susspension in I've gotten 4 alignments (all in one week) and since I got my car, I've had a total of 11 alignments with them. TOTALLY worth it IMHO.
