Thumbs up Can I get an AMEN for REAL JDM???

Can I get an amen for the real deal accessories? It's just a little bit more cash for something that is quality and last long while keeping its maximum integrity. For instance, REAL MUGEN VISORS or REAL OEM Honda Visors... i see so many knock offs, for $150 you can hardly go wrong. For enthusiasts such as myself, i can spot a fake from miles away. I say... if your gona do it... DO IT RIGHT!

Edit: haha and i know i have jmags.. lets not be smartasses... i can feel it coming hahaha

i bought my FAKE jdm tails for $50.00... compare that to the $300+ for the oem stuff across the pond and the choice was obvious - for me anyway

but, my mugen visors are real and my spoon shift knob is real

same here..300+ for lights is kinda crazy..well for poor college kids like me fake wheels are fine in my book..i've realized i change my mind too often to be paying $1000+ for just rims every time i feel like a different pair of shoes =/

but i do find funny fake mugen visors that actually still have the "MUGEN" engraved in..

x2 on buying the real deal.

I also go to school full-time @ CSUF. But if you can budget your money you can buy lots of great real deal stuff, plus bargain hunting doesn't hurt.

Its not about the quantity its about the quality

quality for sure... the fake tails really are crappy quality... you get what you pay for.

All depend on the item.
Sometime you pay for the quality and sometime just for the name.

I think without a doubt that most people here would rock the authentic parts if money wasn't an issue.

I'm in the same boat... I want the cool authentic gear, but I just bought the car and that was expensive enough!

.... to be honest I think it shouldn't matter. You should rock whatever you want and not care what other people think. So what they may be knock offs but there is a chance those knockoffs are going to work out ten times better for your look then the real deal or vis versa......

Brand Whoring is bad imo... Buy what you want can afford etc... and be done with it.

Unless for example you are going to go out and buy something that is just that significantly worst in quality like if your body kit is sooooooo offbrand that it is falling off because fitment is terrible etc.... then that is an obvious no no in my book. But like rotas who cares if you like those wheels then rock them because they obviously hold up tons of people have them and tons of people have other jdm knock stuff.

my fake jdm tails are legit. the fitment is on point, the only difference is the pink reverse instead of the purple. but i can fix that pretty easy. light blue tint FTW hahaha

Im not hating on people who buy fakes/replicas/knock-offs...

that stated. When a company makes a replica of the name brand sure it allows the mass consumers to purchase these items for a relatively inexpensive price. But it hurts the Original Company's. The time and money spent on R&D goes to waste and causes the OC to charge more and then go out of business because they are spending more than they are bringing in.

Support the name brands because they are the ones who are spending the time to create the products we are all longing for. Not because you want to show-off and flaunt money.
