They probably used crappy material. LED's are suppose to last long in general because they do not use filiments like light bulbs. But I dunno about fake LED. Sounds like a ripoff. They might as well come out with a neon light bulbs.

 

Yea i dont understand that. The led's are supposed to be near lifetime of use, but these cheaply made LED products now days are defying that somehow. It baffles me.

 

It depends for me on what it is. I have non mugen visors just to try them out before i spent $150 on visors. $30 is much cheaper to test them. I am going to be taken them off i really don't think i like them. If the part is made good and will last why not if it saves u money. But if the real jdm product is better made and lasts longer than i would save for the real deal. When i had a evo i spent thousands into that car. I have learned its only a car and not worth poring all that much money into any more. I buy a few things just to make my car more comfterable for me and a couple of things for looks.

 

^^^ hits the nail on the head. If its a good product its a good product hands down. I will take a very good product wiht a no name company than a semi-decent product wiht a major brand.

But then agian when things are very close customer service is the deal breaker.

 

Actually have been thinking of going with the Depo tail lights for $130 instead of the $300 JDM ones. How is the light output on them? People happy with them?
