Scary turn 605 S to 60 E
So I was driving yesterday back from Pasadena and going from the 605 S to the 60 E we take that ramp at 30, 5 miles above the speed limit posted. There are 4 people in my Fit. Next thing I know I feel the car slip an hear the tires screeching and I let up and the gas and it grabs back on. Then, further up the ramp it happens again!
I don't know what was wrong. It never happened again to my car after that. It's a really slick road for some reason and scarred the crap out of me. Especially since I had my wife and her mom in the car with me.

i don't know of that turn, but was it raining? if it was, maybe the water on the road filled your pattern in the tires, making the tires to not grip at all. That's at least experiences i've had..
I don't think it has anything to do with the car. if it happens again a few times, i would ask a dealer.

That one is just horribly designed. Why do you have to cross over to get to the freeway you want?

sometimes it happens to me too, but on the 101 south connecting to the 405 north theres a ramp that says 25mph and i take it at 35 or ever 40 sometimes. but i think i'm going to purchase new tires soon. cuz new tires will help alot with handling

This is my favorite interchange in LA! You can take it at 50 MPH no problem. I usually ride the inner lane and grab the inside. You can't take it at 50 using the outside lane though. You'll just end up understeering after the apex.

whats tricky is the 215N/215S towards highland&mountain resorts 210E/riverside 91W. the freeway lanes are shifted everywhere with off angle turns and faint lane markings for several miles. you have to really watch for inattentive drivers because the lanes change angles so quickly.
