I've passed RWD and AWD cars on the track with my DB8. I've also passed RWD and AWD cars with my GE8 in corners.

apples to oranges

rwd is a superior drivetrain for higher horsepower, handling

fwd can be set up to be faster than rwd

but RWD will ultimately be faster than FWD

TOP track times on every track will prove this.

I love all the rwd cars I've had. Now I just make them into lowriders, no handling there. I have a 65 falcon I'll be restoring shortley with a irs suspension and mustang 2 kit up front, so we'll see how it comes out.

Now, fwd cars also handle good, my 92 eg was awesome and the fit is awesome. Everything depends on the driver.
