North San Diego tint shops

Searched the archives, didn't find any threads specific to my area. Does anyone have any suggestions for shops in the North County area of San Diego? Specifically, one that is willing to tint the small windows in front of the side mirrors? I read that some owners were running into shops that were resisting tinting those.

Also, if nobody is from my area and I have to search on my own, what do I look for in a shop? I've got one right down the street but I'll definitely take quality over convenience.

I see Llumar mentioned quite a bit in the tint threads, is it really the way to go? I don't know what I had on my Civic but the front windows were peeling after six years, and I'd like to avoid that.

Thanks!

Have you tried checking out http://www.yelp.com ? I'm not very familiar with the North County area, but if you search on your own, ask the shop to see which kind of film it uses. Llumar is good, and so are brands like: Huper Optik, 3M, SolarGuard, and Johnson Window Films. Also, if the shop is tinting or already tinted a car, ask to see the car to check the quality of the work. Look out for tiny bubbles and examine the corners of the glass to see if the shop covers the entire window glass.
