Happened right in front of my friend's house in West Covina. Sigh.

Wanted it totaled because the resale value would dramatically plummet when I try to sell it in the future. Such a hassle, but finally found a shop in the SGV that quoted me high enough that Mercury officially dubbed it a total loss.

What am I getting next?

With the GTI...the seats are for skinny people only and it seems the only way to start off the line is with the wheels spinning or in super slow-mo...was not impressed when I test drove it...

What happened to the Fit...what are the accident details? Looks like it got hit in the front, did it spin into something and hit the back also?

 

If you go VW, you go TDi. Just saying

Sorry to hear about your Fit. You have to love the GTI but just make sure you are up on the common issues with the car. We want to see pictures if you get this car.

Sorry to hear that. Did the insurance co. tell you that rupturing the air bags are sufficient for claiming a total loss?

 

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm fine. :] I am fully aware of the problems with the GTI, but I'm still very strong on choosing that as my next car.

SHEILA! I didn't know Andy was your boyfriend. I met him at Izzy's last night He was like "Oh your Fit got totaled? My girlfriend has a Fit. Are you on fitfreak? My girlfriend is." I'm like "Who's your girlfriend!?!?!" and he was like "Miss Sheila!" I'm like " :O small world!! " HAHAHA.

 

Sorry to hear that you lost your car. I can't imagine how I would feel if it happen to me. If you need help with a VW I can refer you to someone I know who sells VW. Best of luck to you.
