Calling out Winnipegers!

I've you're brave enough to say you are from there
I've seen a ton of fits around the city this summer. My brother inlaw ( who sold me my fit) tells me anyone on a waiting list won't have to wait too much longer. Apperently Honda has slowed production of their Truck in order to start filling some of the back orders for the Fit. Good idea eh? I could not see GM doing somthing like this.

So who's Fit will be stolen first?

Peg City !!!

Still trying to decide if a FIT is for me, but love the forum!

The North End doesn't have a monopoly on deviant behaviour by the by, St. James has the occasional useless sacs of skins.

welcome!

25 including taxes and interest? With an auto it's pretty close. List auto on the sport S/B 22K or just under before taxes. I was just a tat below 20 before tsx but I'm getting a house deal so it's no wonder i'm waiting as long as I am. I hear people are paying a couple grand over list now because of the demand. This is my first Honda and I'm pretty excited. New car is alway nice but I'm pretty pumped about tearing down my current car.

Winter mileage

Just curious what kind of mileage you guys are getting. My AT Fit Sport isn't getting great mileage yet but I'm still hopeful. These Winnipeg winters can be pretty harsh on cars. Gotta take it in for the check engine indicator that came on a couple of days ago. Maybe that has something to do with the lack of fuel economy I seem to be getting. Anyway, looking forward to hearing any mileage reports you guys have to offer.

Hey Winnipeg

Hope you guys are still around! Just got my 09 Fit LX and it seems to handling Winterpeg OK so far. Heater is adequate and despite my concern about the small battery, it's started every morning (although I have remembered to plug it in each night). Not so good fuel economy - only getting about 9.0L/100km (monitor reads 10% better), but its had to deal with winter warm-up times of 5-10 minutes, 70% city driving and much of that in rush hour, and winter gas, so couldn't really expect better.

Hey all, I'm new to the community. I'm surprised there is even a Winnipeg thread here haha. I'm getting my 09 Fit LX on Monday, pretty excited but at the same time wondering about how to wash it properly and what waxing methods / brands to use. Also the rust proofing issue. Anyway just wanted to say hi to the community.

Welcome! This might be of interest to you....

Also to be noted, I spotted a gorgeously lowered on 17" Buddy Club SFs 2009 Honda Fit Sport in Tidewater Pearl this afternoon.
