Just wanted to see how many people here go up to the Glendora Mountain Road. I go up pretty regularly and chase down the idiots that go up there with riced out civics and integs...even an occational WRX, 240, and a TwinTurbo RX-7 who only had the low end turbo running XDDD.

If not GMR, go ahead and post your favorite canyon road and share your driving experiences ^_^.

 

people still run at GMR? i used to go up there with my friends. but they dont go much anymore. i had some pretty good nights up there. i remember seeing andy there a few times. and one night ken rolled up there with him. i kinda miss that place.

 

Isn't GMR camped by a bunch of cops now? That's why I stopped bringing my Z.

 

Theres a nice road in the Santa Cruz moantains called Bear Creek! I get to drive it every time we got to a family get together!

lol the fd rx7 without the second turbo kick is REALLY slow. my friend had one at about 350whp @10psi and when its 2nd turbo had problem engaging, it was like the slowest thing i ever drove.

but no, i never go up to GMR, maybe i will one day just to have a look.

 

well, the cops recently had a bust up there and they've been going up there during times when the ricers usually pack it up there. but we go up on days that's usually pretty empty and during hours when ricers are home sleeping.

Well, regulars still go up there. Joe doesn't go up there as often anymore due to....something LOL. But yea, GMR will never be lonely there will always be people going up there, be it bad ass drivers or idiots with i/h/e that think they're hot shit

yea i wouldnt go up to gmr. there are lots of cops staking on the bottom and there are also a lot of accidents that happen there due to idiots who dont know how to drive. be careful out there. my advice is just stick to the tracks. my 2cents.

 

crest hwy off the 210 fwy(but we go at like 4 am to avoid the cops and the idiots going up), also ortega hwy(me and friends have secret little spots..cop free)

yea, there are quite a bit of accidents, my friend tried to chase me in his Sti and wrecked pretty much right at the base >_< totalled his car. I still go up occationally, not as often as i used to, though.
