honestly, i think we need to look at HOW the location would benefit our meet. ask yourself this...what location is the best for cruising, hanging out, best weather, etc.?
i hope people aren't voting their own cities bc of the fact that they wouldn't have to drive out to another city.

i voted for houston bc i've seen a good number of modded fits lately(maybe they post on here or not). we also have 3 or 4 public parks, and houston's weather has been nice lately. like right now, i don't see a cloud in the sky, just blue.

I have to agree...theyre is like so many places here in Houston that we can have the meet at. We have plenty of major public parks and and for a cruise, we could even head down to galveston. And the weather right now is awesome. Blue sky and its 81 degrees outside...lol

 

To be honest I voted for Austin. I don't get to go that often and I love the winding drive through the Texas Hill Country.

 

It's the Double Regionals. I'm not fast enough to compete (yet) so I was just gonna watch and learn. I'm not sure what admission will be but to have a few extra Fits show up would keep me grinning.

Either place doesn't matter to me, they are both far! Although if theres a meet, the people from Dallas FTW should meet up before the long drive. Saturdays are good for me.

OK guys, the time is near! I say we meet on the last Sunday of the month. Jan. 27th. Whats it gonna be? I got 7 votes for Austin and 6 for Houston. As of Sunday the 13th the poll will decide the destination.

 

What times would this be held at? I do live far and I need to get back home on Sunday night.

 

I would guess noon would be best for everyone.

haha looks like my vote tied it up between houston and austin...i picked houston since it's closer to me and theres the option of driving down to galveston and stuff...but im also wanting to find a reason to drive down to austin for the winding mountain roads so the vote was not an easy one to make! I'm running all stock right now...i cant mod till i get a job in huntsville and not sure how hard it will be to juggle this semester with a job i want to at least get 35% tint all around asap

yeah, i PM'd at least 15 other people from texas on fitfreak to come out and join us in the TEXAS meet. sometimes, it took a very long time to find out who lived in texas or not from the large amount of members on fitfreak. i'm wanting this to be a nicely sized fit meet. so i'm hoping everyone can make it out, where ever and whenever it is, including myself.

hey mugen mojo, once you set a time/date and location, i'll also PM Los on h-i to see if i can post about this fit meet. i know there are some fits out there that aren't even on fitfreak, and people from all over texas post on h-i.

Wont be going if its in Houston. Dont even get up there to see my best friend due to all the stupid NOLA's and dickhead lawmen.

yeah, I will not be going if its in Houston either.. cause i wont be able to afford it lol

 

lol no offense but...what's there to afford? if you come to houston, it'll be about maybe $70 max for a roundtrip of driving in one day. that includes food and gas too.
if it's in austin, i wont be able to make it due to school.
