If anything we could set up something here in Houston....then maybe during the summer we could have something up in Austin.

 

Valid Point! So there's no way to get everyone on this thread in one place at the same time right? So as LOZA suggest, we will have to have the meet in both locations. I'll set up the Houston meet for Jan. 27th. All you Austin guys get with me to see what kind of locations and dates we can set up.

 

I voted ATX and say we should meet up at Rudy's they are usually meet friendly ( and i love their brisket). Id like to come and get some pics.

Someone set up an ATX meet sooner. No reason why we have to wait till after the Houston meet just because they dont wanna make the drive. Even if only 5 cars or so, I need an excuse to get out of town & roll up there.

 

Dude If you are willing to drive up to Austin why just not join us up in Houston. If your in Corpus its not that far of a drive. Anyhow hope you can make it, and as of Austin ill make the drive out there as well for Vol .2

 

You know I'm gonna be pissed if Vol 2 goes on without me!! I voted for Austin. I just set this one up in Houston first because it was easier for the time being.

 

If people want to have one in Austin so badly, why won't anyone step up and make one in Austin? All you need is permission to be able to have a meet somewhere, and then the rest of the activities(cruise, etc.) are okay to have, since it's in the public. Don't mean to be rude or anything, but it isn't rocket science.

I don't know why people are groaning about the meet being in Houston. Honestly, if it was in Austin, I'd still be optimistic and try to come eventhough I don't have a job and am living off my bank account, currently.
We're trying to make a TEXAS meet(and yes, other people are always welcome).
